The Most Beautiful Book I’ve Ever Seen

The Folio Society is a company based in London that creates special editions of great literary works. I discovered them recently when I stumbled across this beautiful 50th anniversary edition of Dune, one of my all-time favourite books. If I was going to drop £75 on a book, it would be this one no question. Though it would probably end up collecting dust on the shelf because I would be so worried about damaging it that I would never take it down to read.

‘A Folio Society edition is, I reckon, as excellent an accolade as any author can achieve these days’
– Stephen Fry

Have a browse through their online shop, but be warned, you will very quickly find yourself wanting to splash out hundreds on their lavish books.

  1. I agree about the Folio Society editions. If I wasn’t so broke, they’re the kind of thing I would give as gifts. I don’t even trust myself to go back to their shop.
